APC Mourns as Chief of Staff Loses Mother at 83

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Hajiya Binta Bala, the mother of Hon. Mustapha Dawaki Bala, Chief of Staff to the party’s National Chairman who passed away at the age of 83.

In a press statement issued on Monday in Abuja by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the ruling party described the late matriarch as a woman of remarkable virtue whose life of service and compassion left a lasting impact on her family and community.

The party noted that Hajiya Binta Bala was widely regarded as “a mother to all,” citing her vibrant life and the positive influence she wielded within and beyond her immediate environment. According to the statement, her warmth, wisdom and nurturing spirit earned her admiration from many who came in contact with her.

APC further observed that the character and public conduct of Hon. Mustapha Dawaki Bala reflect the strong moral foundation and enduring values instilled in him by his late mother, describing her upbringing as wholesome and exemplary.

“As Mama is laid to rest today in accordance with Islamic rites, we take solace in the knowledge that she lived a good life filled with love and service to family and community,” the statement read, adding that her legacy would continue through her children, grandchildren and all those she inspired.

The party prayed that Almighty Allah grants the deceased Al-Jannatul Firdaus and comforts her family, loved ones and associates during this period of grief.

Hajiya Binta Bala was laid to rest on Monday in line with Islamic traditions.
