I’ve Not Declared Interest In Constesting For Senate

The incumbent Chairman of Ebonyi Local Government Area, Hon. Barrister Chinedu Uburu, has disclosed that he has not declared interest in contesting for the position of Ebonyi North Senatorial District.
Uburu Chinedu wrote on his Facebook handle that he is still interested in working as the Chairman of Ebonyi Local Government Area, and the Chairman of Association of Local Government Emlpyee of Nigeria (ALGON)
He wrote on his Facebook handle, “My attention has been drawn to calls urging me to contest for the position of senate to represent Ebonyi north senatorial district.
” I want to clarify that I have not declared interest in contesting for senate seat or any elective position at the moment.
“I sincerely appreciate the trust reposed in me; this trust is undoubtedly a result of my excellent performance in my current position.
“I assure you that I will keep working tirelessly as ALGON chairman and ofcourse the chairman of the most peaceful council in Ebonyi state, Ebonyi LGA, delivering quality services to the people. For all the trust you all had on me, I am grateful. Unu dike”, he said.
