The All Progressives Congress (APC) has resumed its electronic membership registration exercise across the country, calling on both existing and prospective members to participate in the digital enrollment aimed at strengthening the party’s database and internal processes.

The announcement was contained in a press statement issued in Abuja on April 1, 2026, by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.

According to the statement, “the All Progressives Congress (APC) announces the resumption of its electronic membership registration exercise,” noting that the exercise is taking place “in all wards and designated locations nationwide.”

The party urged its current members to update their records while encouraging new entrants to join its fold. “We urge existing members to validate their membership while new members are encouraged to register and join the progressive family,” the statement said.

It further outlined eligibility requirements for registration, stating that “registrants must be 18 years or older and must possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).”

Highlighting the significance of the initiative, the APC explained that the exercise is part of efforts to modernise its operations and improve efficiency. “The e-registration exercise is designed to digitize the Party’s membership register, ensure the integrity of records, enhance efficient access to membership data for planning and management decisions, promote internal democracy, and strengthen the Party’s commitment to democratic innovation in Nigeria,” the statement added.

The resumption of the electronic registration underscores the party’s push to leverage technology in consolidating its membership base and administrative structure nationwide.
