NIGERIA @59: THE HOPE HAS RISEN – APC UK

    The All Progressives Congress in the United Kingdom has congratulated Nigerians, home and abroad, and said that the hope has risen for Nigeria as the Country celebrate her 59th Anniversary. The congratulatory message was contained in a press statement released by the spokesperson of the party in the UK, Mr Jacob Ogunseye in Abuja in the early hours of today. According to Ogunseye, ‘the Country has seen its worse, the next level phase is now, the time to consolidate and reap from her hard labour, Nigeria has been put on the pedestal of growth, the present administration has successfully through its strategic policies planted the Country on a fertile upward trajectory, and now is the time for Nigerians to enjoy the benefit of good governance. The statement also praised the resilience of Nigerians during the enduring times. He saluted them for their abilities to support the government in those hard days. “We congratulate Nigerians on this special occasion of the 59th independence anniversary, as a party, we are so proud of the resilience of our people; they stood resolute with the administration when those hard decisions were being taken”. “Nigerians should not despair, we have weathered the storm, and nothing can stop us as a united one Nigeria”, the statement concluded.
