The Nigerian Kogi born EMVC electric cars’ inventor, Prince Mustapha Mona Audu seeks and make the appeal on Friday while speaking to the press men after presenting series of his invented and locally manufactured EMVC electric cars to the honorable minister,federal ministry of science, technology and innovation, Dr. Ogbonnayo Onu at the ministry’s headquarters complex, Abuja.

The EMVC electric car series presented by by Prince Audu among other features has a battery that can run non stop for more than two hours which can be charged automatically while in use and drain to 20%, a charging socket, air conditioner, far, solar panel and regulator, automatic gear system and welled furnished state of the art interior etc. and easy to use and maintain.

Audu in an interaction with the press said all the cars are made with local contents and named after local titles to align and deepen the product penetration into the local indigenous cultural status. This, he said will further brand Nigeria as African science, tech and innovation hub.

The inventor, prince Audu applauded government commitment to eco-friendly policies, said their innovation, the EMVC electric car is not just ecofriendly but pride in their meeting the level five(5) climate compliance which is the highest ecofriendly compliance. He therefore prides their EMVC electric cars as the most ecofriendly car innovation in Nigeria.
The inventor who told news men that funding all through the production cycle and from inception has been self-funded directly from him call on government and her agencies to aid them in accessing related grant and other interventions. He reiterated that part of recently approved 4 trillion oil subsidy payment when channeled into the project will in turn  create more jobs and opportunities for the teeming youths thereby curbing restiveness and insecurity in the country.

He added, “with proper funding, access to intervention and right policies, cost of the EMVC electric cars which is currently affordable will further be reduced to what all Nigerians can afford”.

He therefore encouraged Nigeria youths to be focused, assuring them of better opportunities ahead while he call on government, individual, corporate bodies and other indigenous and foreign donor agencies for collaboration and partnership for the expansion of the project. Hoping that youths engagement in this very laudable project will reduce unemployment and as well discouraged all forms of social vices such as banditry,kidnapping, thuggery etc in our Nigeria societies.

Prince Mustapha Mona Audu, the EMVC electric cars inventor laud the federal government commitment to science, technology and innovation and the honorable minister, federal ministry of science, technology and innovation for providing a science, technology and innovation driven leadership that has transformed the ministry from a mean statement ministry to product delivery ministry however, charges them to do more.

The minister, Dr. ogbonnaya Onu who with elation received prince Audu and his team, assured the inventor and his team of government commitment and support and encourage him not to relent in his dream.

Earlier, the DG, National Space Research and Development Agency, Dr. Halilu Ahmad Shaba laud the innovation and assured the innovator of all necessary support and further advised him to seek partner and collaboration with government and her agencies.
