10th NASS: ANPCF COMMENDS HON. DOGUWA FOR STEPPING DOWN FOR ABBAS

The Association of Northern Political Correspondent Forum has commended the Majority Leader of the House of Representatives Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa for finding Hon. Tajudeen Abbas worthy and capable of leading the 10th national assembly , thereby stepping down for him.

In a statement issued and made available to panafricreport by the chairman of the forum, Chris Alu said the valorous move taking by Doguwa is an indication that he wants the country to move forward in line with the decision of the party APC.

Hon Doguwa was among the contestant that thrown in the towel by indicating interest to run for the speaker of the 10th assembly.

Doguwa in quest to abide by the party decision decided to stepped down for Abbas in good faith having found him most qualified candidate that will pilot the affairs of the 10th assembly.

The statement said. ” We sincerely commend the timely decision taken by the majority leader of the House of Representatives for stepping down for Abbas ,this is a sacrifice of love and progress for not just the party but also to the country”.

Also urged other contestants to reason with Doguwa and toe the line of peace in order to have one house where unity and love will prevail .

The forum therefore enjoin members to look onwards and work in harmony in a serene environment with the executives for advancement rather than a chaotic and trouble visinity devoid of rancour animosity and feud.
