Okpebholo receives hundreds of decampees as he commence campaign from Igbanke, decry neglect by Obaseki, promise to complete remaining Igbanke Roads

The Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress Senator Monday Okpebholo and his deputy Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa yesterday kicked off his campaign from Igbanke East and West Ward, Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State in a combined show of political strength.

The event which turned into a carnival saw the members of APC in Igbanke fill up twenty canopies with over 1,300 chairs capacity venue to the brim.

Akpakomiza as he is fondly called who hailed the unprecedented crowd in Igbanke decried the developmental neglect of the community by Obaseki’s led administration.

He noted that the roads were abandoned where former Governor Adams Oshiomole stopped while the hospital, schools and other infrastructures were also abandoned.

Senator Monday Okpebholo therefore promised to complete all abandoned government projects in the community.

He also used the opportunity to hail the developmental and political sagacity of member represents Edo State in the Board of Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC Rt. Hon Patrick Aisowieren.

High point of the event was the receiving of decampees from the opposition PDP, Labour Party and ADC.

Senator Monday Okpebholo was accompanied by his Deputy Governorship candidate Rt Hon Dennis Idahosa, Director General of campaign organization Senator Matthew Uroghide, Former Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly Rt. Hon Victor Edoror, Member representing Orhionmwon East Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly Hon Osamwonyi Atu, Chairman of APC in Orhionmwon Comrade Julius Agbonze, Publicity Secretary of the APC in Edo Barr. Peter Uwadia Secretary of the APC campaign council in Orhionmwon Mr. Felix Obamwonyi, Assistant Woman Leader of the APC in Orhionmwon Mrs Glory Obaze aka Mama B amongst others.
