DEPUTY SPEAKER LAMI CONGRATULATES JACOB IFERE ESQ ON HIS ELEVATION TO THE RANK OF SENIOR ADVOCATE OF NIGERIA (SAN)
Deputy Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, who also represents Ado State Constituency at the State House of Assembly, Chief Hon Mrs Lami Danladi Ogenyi has congratulated an illusrious son of Ado local government, Jacob Ifere Esq, on his recent elevation to the prestigious rank of a Senior Advocate Of Nigeria (SAN).
The Deputy Speaker according to press statement by her Press Secretary, Agbaji Samuel Atsonwu in a goodwill message at the investiture ceremony held yesterday 30th September, 2024 in Abuja by the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee, stated that the entire Ado people were glad and proud of him for the unwavering dedication, commitment and diligence he put in to accomplishing this very epoch-making feat for Ado.
“As the first Barrister of Ado origin to attain this esteemed position in the Nigerian Judiciary, we are most glad and proud of you for the unwavering dedication, commitment and diligence you have put in to accomplishing this feat.
“This position which is not only a win for yourself but for the entire Idoma Nation and particularly, Ado local government area, serves as a beacon of hope for the greater glory which is to come to our dear people. Most importantly, this milestone would inspire thousands of our youths to aspire higher in their various endeavors, with the view to presenting the true golden status of our local government before the global community”, Chief Lami added.
While extending her congratulations to Jacob Ifere Esq (SAN), the Deputy Speaker respectfully requested that he takes into consideration the need to mentor the young Legal Practitioners looking up to him for guidance, direction and inspiration, even as he continues to imbibe the virtues of integrity, excellence, diligence, among others.
