Ado Local Government Chairman Pledges Development for Apa Ward Following Traditional Council Visit

The Chairman of Ado Local Government Council, Hon. Engr. Oche Sunday Oche, has reaffirmed his commitment to bringing development to Apa Ward following a visit from the Apa Traditional Council. The delegation, led by Otse Apa-Agila, Chief Engr. Moses Obande, expressed their support for the Chairman’s administration and sought collaboration to improve the lives of their constituents.

During the meeting, Engr. Oche expressed gratitude for the traditional council’s visit and reiterated his administration’s commitment to the development of all wards within the local government area. He specifically addressed the pressing issue of water scarcity, pledging to upgrade the Apa Dam and open feeder roads to enhance the community’s infrastructure.

“The people of Apa are very important to my administration,” stated Engr. Oche. “We will work tirelessly to bring the dividends of democracy directly to their doorstep.”

Furthermore, the Chairman urged the people of Apa Ward to support the efforts of Governor Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia’s (Ph.D) administration, citing the ongoing construction of the Igumale-Agila road (passing through Apa) as a significant development initiative. He emphasized the governor’s commitment to the Apa and Agila people, highlighted by several key appointments of their sons and daughters to government positions.

This meeting signifies a strengthening partnership between the local government and traditional institutions, working collaboratively towards a more prosperous future for Ado.
