The Honourable Member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency and Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Monitoring and Evaluation of Standing/Adhoc Committee, Hon. Sanni Egidi has enjoined the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Ajaokuta branch to turn challenges into opportunities and make Ajaokuta a hub of engineering excellence and industrial strength.

Hon. Sanni gave the charge during an official courtesy visit payed him by the NSE, Ajaokuta branch where he was confirmed a fellow and presented the society’s Patron Legacy Award.
Sanni who assured the society of his continued commitment to the sustainability of the organization, commended the effort of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
Welcoming the delegation he said “It is with great honor and privilege that I welcome you all to this important occasion as we host the distinguished members of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Ajaokuta Branch. Your presence here today is a testament to your commitment to national development through engineering excellence.
“The role of engineers in nation-building cannot be overemphasized. From infrastructure to industrialization, from technology to innovation, engineers remain at the heart of progress. Ajaokuta, being home to one of Nigeria’s most significant industrial projects-the Ajaokuta Steel Complex-stands as a beacon of our aspirations for economic and technological advancement.
