

NASS Clerk Kamoru Settles for Key Legislative Reforms
Prioritize staff welfares and infrastructural development
The Clerk to the National Assembly, Mr. Kamoru Ogunlana, Esq. has expressed his commitment to the advancement of key legislative reforms to amend the National Assembly Service Act and National Assembly Pension Board( Establishment) to enhance the efficiency of the parliamentary bureaucracy.
The Director, Information, Mr. Bullah Audu Bi-Allah in a statement he e-sign on behalf of the Secretary, Research and Information says Ogunlana reiterated his dedication to advancing key legislative reforms during his inaugural meeting with top management officials of the National Assembly.
Mr. Ogunlana according to the statement underscored the importance of prioritizing staff welfare, recognizing its critical role in driving productivity and vowed to build upon the infrastructural advancements initiated by his predecessor while addressing emerging security challenges within the Assembly.
In his address, Mr. Ogunlana commended the leadership for their exceptional contributions to maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the National Assembly bureaucracy. He called for continued collaboration to achieve the institution’s goals, noting that the National Assembly stands as the largest, busiest, and most dynamic parliament in Africa.
