The Executive Vice Chairman of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halil, has brought to the fore the need to solving uniquely African problem, in African way.

 

EVC Khalil who spoke as a panelist at the just concluded GITEXAfrica2025 held in Marrakech, Morocco argued that the moment is less about reacting to the U.S stepping back, and more about stepping into our own power as African, emphasizes the importance of African-driven innovation and collaboration as the key to unlocking the continent’s full potential.

S‏aid, “Africa is strong when we create, grow, and share our own solutions.” The session focused on advancing digital trade and homegrown technologies across the continent.

Reflecting on his tech journey, Halilu recalled his 2022 appearance at GITEX Global as a Supernova Challenge finalist, where he showcased a groundbreaking mobility and logistics innovation through his startup, ShapShap.

“Now, I’m here again, this time as a panelist representing NASENI, showing what’s possible when we believe in and build our own ideas,” he said, reinforcing NASENI’s commitment to indigenous innovation and infinite possibilities for Africa’s future.

NASENI’s EVC, Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu has continued to drive industrial revolution through innovation and renewed energy.
