Former political office holders under the platform of former development centre coordinators(Class of 2019-2023), has called on the people of Ebonyi State to support Governor Nwifuru’s bid for second tenure, come 2027.
Speaking on behalf of the Coordinators, during the celebration of Nwifuru’s second year annivasary at the New Government House, Centinary City, Chairman of the Former Development Centre Coordinators Forum(2019-2023), Hon. Okey Philip, who was the former coordinator of Ezzama Development Centre, boasted that Governor Nwifuru’s achievements was all encompassing.
According to him, the Governor had left no stone unturned in his desire to ensure all round development in all sectors of Ebonyi State as encapsulated in the People’s Chatter of Needs manifesto of the Governor.
He said, $The former coordinators are here gathered to show solidarity to His Excellency for his achievements as he marks his two years in office. We are celebrating a lot of things, a lot of achievements by the government. We thank His Excellency for his numerous projects in the state.
“He has made tremendous achievements in both human and infrastructural development, that are still going on in the state. The governor has returned peace in the state. I urge everyone to support the government of Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.
“It will serve as an encouragement for him to do more. I also advise every other politician, maybe some who have not gotten any position, to be patient that it will also get to them, one by one.
“There is nothing wrong to start canvassing for Nwifuru’s second tenure, it’s actually good because you need to let people know about it. And his own will not be different because others have gone eight years.So his own will not be different. He must complete eight years, then hand over to another zone”, Okey stated.
