ANAMBRA STATE SECURITY: Police Command Takes Delivery of Armoured Personnel Carrier to Boost Operational Capacity

In a strategic move to strengthen security operations across Anambra State, the Nigeria Police Force has delivered a brand-new Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) to the Anambra State Police Command, significantly boosting the Command’s operational capacity.
The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc MNIPS PhD according to a press release e-signed by the command Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga received the APC at the State Police Headquarters in Awka and expressed heartfelt appreciation to the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force for the timely intervention.
“This critical asset will play a pivotal role in enhancing our ability to tackle emerging security challenges and ensure the sustained safety of lives and property across Anambra,” CP Orutugu said. “It will further strengthen our operational readiness and support ongoing efforts in law enforcement across the state.”
He also praised the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD NPM, for his proactive leadership and unwavering commitment to improving police logistics, welfare, and morale across the country.
Reaffirming the Command’s dedication, the CP called on the good people of Anambra to continue cooperating with law enforcement agencies, noting that a safer Anambra is a collective responsibility.
The Anambra State Police Command assured residents of its renewed vigor in tackling crime and maintaining peace and order throughout the state.
