The Executive Chairman of Ado Local Government Council, Engr. Sunny Oche has on behalf of the council and the entire local government area extend condolences over the death of Hon. Steven Ogbu Aluna.
Oche in a condolences message he personally e-signed said his heart is full of profound shock and immense grief over his untimely passing.

It is with a heart full of profound shock and immense grief that I, Engr. Sunny Oche, Chairman of Ado Local Government, on behalf of the entire good people of Ado, convey our deepest condolences on the sudden and untimely passing of our beloved son, brother, and leader, Hon. Steven Ogbu Aluna. His demise on October 2nd, 2025, has sent a chilling wave of sorrow through our community, particularly as he was seen amongst us, vibrant and full of life, just very recently.
Hon. Steven Aluna was, to us, a pillar of strength and an embodiment of dedication. He was a man characterized by his tireless diligence, unwavering focus, and purposeful drive in all his endeavors. His life was a testament to hard work and commitment, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he encountered.
Indeed, Hon. Aluna was instrumental in shaping the political landscape of Ado Local Government, contributing significantly with his wisdom, foresight, and steadfast leadership. He conducted his life with utmost integrity and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of our people, serving as an inspiration to many and a true champion of our shared progress. His contributions will forever be etched in the annals of our history.
To his immediate family, we extend our heartfelt sympathies during this incredibly difficult time.
