The Agila community in Ado Local Government Area of Benue State has officially launched a ₦30 million education appeal fund to support the construction of six modern classrooms and an administrative block at the Agila Community Secondary School, Agila Town.

This noble initiative, championed by the Office of the Ward Head of Agila/Akpoge/Ogbilolo Ward, Otsé–Agila, is a collective response to the urgent need to improve the learning environment and strengthen the educational foundation of present and future generations in the community.

According to the appeal letter dated January 23, 2026, the project aims to provide adequate infrastructure that will not only enhance academic excellence but also improve the welfare of both teaching and non-teaching staff. The absence of sufficient classrooms and administrative facilities has continued to place pressure on the school system, affecting both learning outcomes and staff productivity.

The community is therefore calling on all well-meaning sons and daughters of Agila, both at home and in the diaspora, as well as philanthropists, friends, corporate organizations, and development partners, to rise to this important cause.

“This appeal is not just about buildings; it is about investing in the future of our children, strengthening our community, and laying a solid foundation for sustainable development,” the letter states.
