NASS Announces New Date For Plenary Resumption

The National Assembly of Nigeria has postponed the resumption of plenary earlier fixed for Thursday, March 5, 2026.
The announcement was contained in in a statement signed by the Clerk to the National Assembly, Kamoru Ogunlana and made available to newsmen on Monday, informing lawmakers that plenary will now resume on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
Distinguished Senators and Honourable Members of the House of Representatives were urged to take note of the new date and adjust their schedules accordingly while the leadership of the both chambers expressed regret over any inconvenience the change may cause.
