Ado Local Government Chairman Commiserates With Special Adviser On Media And Strategic Communications Over The Demise Of His Father, Late Augustine Ogbole Aluma

The Executive Chairman of Ado Local Government Area, Engr. Sunny Oche, has expressed profound sadness over the passing of Late Augustine Ogbole Aluma, the father of his Special Adviser on Media and Strategic Communications, Mr. Moses Aluma. The news of the death came to the Chairman with deep shock and grief despite the efforts made by the family and well-wishers to ensure that the deceased received adequate medical attention before his eventual demise.
Late Augustine Ogbole Aluma, an indigene of Oko in Orokam, Ogbadibo Local Government Area, Benue State, passed away on March 8, 2026, after a brief illness. The Chairman noted that the loss is not only painful to the immediate family but also to associates and those who knew the deceased as a man of dignity, discipline, and admirable values.
While commiserating with Mr. Moses Aluma, who currently serves the administration as Special Adviser on Media and Strategic Communications, the Chairman acknowledged the dedication and professionalism he has brought to his responsibilities in strengthening the local government’s communication architecture. He encouraged him to take solace in the exemplary life, upright character, and good legacy left behind by his late father, which is clearly reflected in the responsible upbringing of his children.
Engr. Oche described death as an inevitable passage of life ordained by nature and urged the family to find comfort in the worthy life lived by the deceased. According to him, the best way to honour the memory of the late patriarch is to uphold the virtues of humility, integrity, and commitment to family and community which he embodied during his lifetime.
On behalf of the staff and the good people of Ado Local Government Area, the Chairman extended heartfelt condolences to Mr. Moses Aluma, the entire Aluma family, and the people of Oko, Orokam in Ogbadibo Local Government Area during this period of mourning. He prayed that God grant the soul of the departed eternal rest and give the family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
