The Honourable Minister of Works, Senator Engr. David Nweze Umahi, has paid glowing tribute to his wife, Her Excellency, Chief Mrs. Rachel Ogonna Umahi, as she marks her 54th birthday, describing her as a pillar of strength, a source of wisdom, and a remarkable woman devoted to humanity.

In a heartfelt birthday message he personally issued on Sunday, the minister expressed profound gratitude to God for what he called the “priceless gift” of his wife, acknowledging her enduring impact on their family and society at large.

“To my darling wife… as you mark your 54th birthday, my heart is filled with deep gratitude to God for the priceless gift you are to me, our family, and to all whose lives you continue to touch with your kindness and strength,” Umahi stated.

He praised her unwavering support over the years, noting that her sacrifices and love have been central to their shared journey. “You have been more than a wife; you are a pillar of constant support, a source of wisdom, and a shining example of grace under every circumstance,” he said.

Reflecting on her character and contributions, Umahi described the celebrant as “compassionate, resilient, selfless, and deeply committed to the service of humanity,” adding that her influence extends far beyond what words can capture.

The minister also offered prayers for her continued wellbeing and fulfillment in the years ahead. “As you step into this new chapter, I pray that God continues to bless you with good health, peace, joy, and many more years of fulfillment,” he said, wishing that “all that your heart desires be brought to fruition.”

He concluded the tribute with a note of deep affection and appreciation: “Thank you for being my partner, my strength, and my greatest blessing. Happy 54th Birthday, my beloved.”
