North Central SSA Forum Confers Patronship on Senator Al-Makura, Backs Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election

The Forum of Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) to the Governors of the North Central States has conferred the position of Patron on the Chairman of the Governing Board of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), Distinguished Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, in recognition of his leadership and contributions to the development of the North Central region.
The honour was bestowed during a familiarisation visit by the Forum, led by its Chairman, Hon. Prince Oruma Ezekiel, and facilitated by one of its Patrons, Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims.
Speaking during the visit, Hon. Prince Oruma Ezekiel said the recognition reflected the Forum’s confidence in Senator Al-Makura’s leadership, mentorship and commitment to the progress of the North Central region.
Responding, Senator Al-Makura thanked the Forum for the honour and pledged his continued support for initiatives that promote good governance, regional integration and sustainable development. He also urged members to remain committed to the Renewed Hope Agenda and mobilise support for the re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, stressing that continuity would consolidate the achievements of the current administration and accelerate national development.
The visit concluded with a shared commitment to strengthening collaboration in advancing the collective interests of the North Central region and Nigeria at large.
