The Ufia All Progressives Congress (APC) Three Wards Joint Group has congratulated the Executive Chairman of Ado Local Government Council, Engr. Sunny Oche, on his emergence as Treasurer of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Benue State Chapter.
The congratulatory message was signed by Hon. Innocent Ike Agasi, Leader, Ufia APC Three Wards Joint Group, who described Oche’s emergence as recognition of his leadership qualities, competence, integrity and commitment to public service.
The group expressed appreciation to members of Benue ALGON for finding Oche worthy of membership of the association’s State Executive Committee and entrusting him with the responsibility of Treasurer.
According to the group, Oche’s emergence came as no surprise to members of Ufia APC, given his record of meticulousness, brilliance and attention to detail in the discharge of his responsibilities as Ado Local Government chairman.
The group said his acceptance of the new responsibility further demonstrated his willingness to contribute his experience to the collective development and effective administration of local governments across Benue State.
“His emergence is a clear recognition of his leadership qualities, competence, integrity and commitment to service,” the group said, describing the new position as a well-deserved elevation.
The Ufia APC Three Wards Joint Group also passed a vote of confidence in Oche’s leadership and expressed continued support for the Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, PhD, whom it commended for his leadership and commitment to the development of the state.
The group pledged its continued support and solidarity with both leaders as the 2027 general elections approach, while expressing confidence that Oche would justify the confidence reposed in him by his colleagues.
It wished the ALGON Treasurer wisdom, strength and success in his new assignment, saying his experience and leadership capacity would contribute positively to the strengthening of grassroots administration in Benue.
The group concluded by urging Oche to remain committed to the principles of accountability, integrity and service as he assumes his new responsibility within the Benue State ALGON leadership.
