MD Foundation Honours a Nigerian Youth Scholar Gaothu Shabaab with gift presentation

The MD Foundation for Charity
and National Integration has honoured Nigerian youth scholar and Islamic educator, Sheikh Muhammed Jaabir Muhammed Shittu, popularly known as Gaothu Shabaab, with a special sign-out gift in recognition of his contributions to youth development, Islamic education and community service.
The presentation, held on September 25, 2026, was led by the Foundation’s Founder and Executive Director, Ikudomi Muhammad Olanrewaju, alongside members of its Osun State Chapter.
The Foundation said the gesture was aimed at recognising Gaothu Shabaab’s positive influence on young people and his contributions to community development, humanitarian service and national integration.
Speaking at the occasion, MD commended the scholar’s commitment to education, youth development and community engagement, stressing the importance of recognising individuals whose efforts have positively impacted society.
In a further demonstration of its confidence in his values and commitment to service, the Foundation formally requested Gaothu Shabaab to serve as a Patron.
Gaothu Shabaab accepted the appointment and expressed appreciation for the confidence reposed in him. He also pledged his support for the Foundation’s mission of promoting charity, national integration, youth empowerment, peace, education and social development.
The Foundation said the recognition reflects its commitment to celebrating positive role models and encouraging young Nigerians who are making meaningful contributions to society.
The organisation reaffirmed its commitment to advancing community development through advocacy, education, leadership development and humanitarian initiatives.
The development marks another milestone in the growth of the MD Foundation for Charity and National Integration as it continues to expand its platform for humanitarian service and community development
