Ohaukwu Youth General Assembly Endorses Nwifuru, APGA Candidate For 2027 Election

A socio-cultural and non-partisan organisation, Ohaukwu General Youth Assembly (OGYA), has endorsed the re-election bid of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for the forthcoming general election, citing infrastructure development and human empowerment.
The youths in their numbers in solidarity, moved from Okwo Ngbo to Ezzangbo junction to demonstrate their support, chanting solidarity songs for the re-election of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of the All Progressive Congress (APC), and for the candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA) for Ohaukwu/Ebonyi Federal Constituency, Barrister Tochukwu Ogalagu.
Speaking during the one million man march, organised by the body at Ezzangbo junction in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, President-General of the Assembly, Onah Emmanuel, noted that Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has made numerous life-touching achievements.
He enumerated the achievements of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru to include, but not limited to the sponsorship of students of Ebonyi State indigenes to overseas scholarship, ensuring the existence of peace in every nooks and crannies of Ebonyi State, especially, the restoration of peace in Effium and between the people of Ngbo and Agila.
The President added that Barrister Tochukwu Ogalagu has offered jobs to over seven hundred youths, which has reduced Youth restiveness in Ohaukwu Local Government Area and has also promised to rebuild the destroyed building of Ohaukwu Area Command as a way of improving security in the area.
According to him, Barrister Tochukwu Ogalagu presented himself before the Ohaukwu General Youth Assembly during a recent youth interactive session for candidates of 2027 general,adding that the body doesn’t support political parties ,but individuals with proven records.
He further announced free skill acquisition for the youths in various areas of their choice with the assurance that he is going to foot the bill for the skill acquisition.
The endorsement motion for Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru’s re-election was moved by Omah Chidi from Amechi and seconded by the President-General of Ameku autonomous community, Onwe Chigbo Stanley, while the motion to endorse Barrister Tochukwu Ogalagu was moved by Elom John, who hails from Effium autonomous Community and seconded by Ike Patrick from Amoffia Community.
The two motions were put into vote and were unanimously adopted by the members of Ohaukwu General Youth Assembly.
