REPS’ COMMITTEE ON FOREIGN AFFAIRS CALLS FOR MEMORANDA ON SHADY ACTIVITIES IN THE MINISTRY AND NIGERIA’S FOREIGN MISSIONS.

The House of Representatives’ Committee on Foreign Affairs has called for memoranda from the general public and Nigerians in the Diaspora with regards to what they called ” Incessant Malpractices Associated with Diplomatic Postings and Deliberate Draining of Resources in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs”.

The above ,the announcement informed,follows a motion moved by a member of the House at plenary ,which was deliberated upon and referred to the Foreign Affairs Committee for further action.

In a public announcement titled ”Request for Memoranda” signed by Rep.Yusuf Buba Yakub, Chairman of the Committee and Gombi/ Hong representative,which was made available to the press on Thursday in Abuja, members of the general public were requested to submit any such Memoranda on the matter to Suite 1.01 House of Representatives Building ( New Wing) latest before the close of work on Monday,March 25,202

Gunmen suspected to be bandits have again abducted nearly 300 students from Government Secondary School, Jangebe in Zamfara State around midnight on Friday.

According to a developing story on BBC Hausa Service, all abducted students are females.

The father of one of the students and teacher at the school from which the students were abducted confirmed the incident to the BBC.

The State police and the Zamfara State Government have not yet commented on the matter.

This comes as efforts are underway to rescue Kagara Secondary School students and their teachers abducted by gunmen in Niger State recently.
