LEADERSHIP THAT DELIVERS: A CALL FOR RECOGNITION OF GOVERNOR ABDULLAHI SULE
By Ibrahim Abdul
In an era where political leadership is often characterized by grand pronouncements and formalities, Governor Abdullahi Sule’s tenure is redefining this narrative through his tangible presence across every corner of the state.
As the saying goes that charity begins at home, Akwanga, Wamba, and Nasarawa Eggon are reaping the benefits of his administration, with visible developmental projects that attest to his commitment.
If the essence of leadership is to initiate policies that align with the wishes and aspirations of the people, then Governor Abdullahi Sule deserves recognition from the constituents of Nasarawa North.
Take Akwanga as a prime example: it is no longer just a transit town; it has become part of a larger transformation.
The underpass, the bypass, the expanding road network, and the relocation of Dash Hospital, in addition to the ongoing developmental projects too numerous to mention here due to constraint of space, are courtesy of Governor Abdullahi Sule.
Similarly, Wamba and Nasarawa Eggon local government areas are also enjoying their share of these advancements.
The best way for the people of the Nasarawa North Senatorial District to reciprocate his efforts is by supporting him for the Senatorial seat, enabling him to bring good governance even closer to the district.
As the 2027 general elections approach, the residents of Akwanga, Wamba, and Nasarawa Eggon face a pivotal decision: to stand and support the candidature of Engineer Abdullahi Sule as their candidate for the National Assembly seat.
Before you should be oblivious, let me remind you that, Engineer Abdullahi Sule’s development agenda has been a pathway propelling Nasarawa State toward economic resilience and renaissance.
Since taking office as Executive Governor, he has demonstrated a commitment to financial autonomy by enhancing internal revenue generation, thereby reducing reliance on external loans.
His strategy facilitates the execution of critical capital projects and attracts investment to the state.
Suffice it to say, if granted the mandate for his Senate bid, we have reason to believe that he will implement this successful strategy to represent the good people of Nasarawa North.
Reflecting on the wisdom of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we recognize the distinction between a dreamer and a visionary. While a dreamer keeps their eyes closed, a visionary sees possibilities with clarity.
Engineer Abdullahi Sule embodies this vision, committed to achieving a common goal that benefits the entire community.
In the upcoming elections, the people of Nasarawa North have a remarkable opportunity to choose a leader who not only dreams of a better future but possesses the vision and determination to realize it.
