There seems confusion in the camps of Christians these days, talking about the quantities of prayers going on globally, yet answers to the prayers appear to be unnoticeable. Lots of people are expressing concerns about effective results of prayers from the Christians not felt. We have never had periods where numerous churches, prayer ministries, prophetic ministries, deliverance ministries and many others are being duplicated, multiplied and expanded like this 21st Century. Heads of churches as well as members of denominations fast averagely every day and all through the year cumulatively. Mountains tops are been taken over by prayer groups and individuals so as to contact unction and anointing. Just to mention these few. One will be right to conclude that result oriented prayer is a major issue in the Christendom.
A quick glance through these materials show that each of the authors approached “Resulted Oriented Prayer from how the Holy Spirit revealed to the individuals. Common areas that result oriented prayer can be achieved by the authors of the materials involve knowledge of the words of God, genuine repentance and ability to pray in the Spirit. Others included ability to fast and pray till something happens. Practicing of righteousness and holiness make these lists too. All these are consented to, by this devotional. However, this devotional will dwell more on attitudes of Christians as another reason Result Oriented Prayers have not recorded expected efficiency in the world. This of course talks about motives of the prayers. The Bible says: “And when you ask (in prayer), you do not receive it, because your motives are bad; you ask (pray) for things to use for your own pleasures” (James 4: 3 – Good News Bible with emphasis all mine).

FATHER JEHOVAH, reveal to your servants and children of this age, want to pray on, how to pray properly and how to pray according to your will for result oriented prayers to be achievable in churches and societies in Jesus name.
