The Akanaba k’Idoma (Pillar of Idoma Nation) Chief Dr. Mike Okibe Onoja (CON) has saluted His Excellency, the executive governor of Benue State as he marks 365 days in office, said the governor has demonstrated unwavering dedication, visionary leadership, and a tireless commitment to the progress and prosperity of the state.
Chief Dr. Okibe’s applaud for the governor’s one year in office score card is contained in a congratulatory message he personally signed.

• Agriculture: The administration ordered and took delivery of 300 metric tons of fertilizer to the state and subsidized the same at 50 percent.
• Finance: Under Governor Alia’s leadership, the specter of unpaid salaries and pensions arrears has been eliminated.
• Education: Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, without hesitation, approved the implementation of new retirement age and length of service for primary and secondary school teachers and many more.
