ADO LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN FELICITATES WITH THE FAMILIES OF KIDNAP VICTIMS ON THE SUCCESSFUL RELEASE OF THEIR LOVED ONES

The Chairman of Ado Local Government Council, Engr. Sunny Oche has felicitated with the families of kidnap victims on the successful release of their loved ones from the kidnapper’s den early Sunday morning of October 13, 2024.
The indefatigable Chairman sprang into action immediately after he received a signal that the kidnappers had struck by placing the Security agencies on a red alert. All hands were put on deck to secure the release of the victims back to their families without harm.
In a commendable display of leadership and commitment to public safety, Hon. Sunny Oche successfully facilitated the release of five persons who were recently kidnapped in the Utonkon axis of the local government area.
According to press release e-signed by his Principal Private Secretary (PPS), Innocent Igelle says the Local Government Boss had warned via a press release aired on Joy FM Otukpo a fortnight ago that Ado local government will no longer be a haven for kidnappers, bandits, miscreants and other criminal elements, advices them to leave before the long arm of the law will catch up with them.
He appreciates His Excellency the Governor of Benue State, Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia for his support throughout the rescue efforts up until the final release of the victims.
Hon. Oche expressed profound gratitude to the security agencies, acknowledged their combined efforts and professionalism in combing the forest areas the kidnappers had used as their den of operation.
He further emphasized that the swift response and strategic operations carried out by these agencies were instrumental in ensuring the safe return of the victims to their families.
The Council Chairman urges all Ado residents to provide the security Agencies with useful information on strange and criminal activities in their areas since, according to him, security is everyone’s business. He admonishes Adolites to say something if they see something.
