ARI MICHAEL ADEJOR HAS DECAMPED TO THE ALL PROGRESSIVE CONGRESS (APC)
… calls it homecoming

Mr. Ari Michael ADEJOR left his former Political Party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressive Congress (APC) on Friday, October 18, 2024, at the APC ward party Secretariat, Ukwonyo, Utonkon.
Mr. Adejo, who said he was a scion of the Action Congress (AC) before the merger of the AC and other political parties to form the APC in 2013 describes his cross-carpeting from PDP to APC as a homecoming for him.
The Chairman of all the APC Wards Chairmen in Ado Local Government, Mr. Emmanuel Egbe Idah who doubles as the Ukwonyo Ward Chairman, performed the ceremony. He called on Hon. Adejo to step forward for the final segment of the event, which is the decampee’s official registration with the party. The Party Chairman introduced him to the party members present and called for his acceptance or rejection. All party members accepted him into their fold overwhelmingly without equivocation instead.
The Ukwonyo ward Chairman filled the membership card with the decampee’s full name, signed it and handed it over to him to conclude the process of registration with the APC. The APC membership card was signed in the presence of the ward Secretary, Mr. Dominic Onwe Ogbu and all other party members present.
Soon after the membership card was issued to him, Mr. Adejo pledged his unreserved loyalty to the party across its structures. He said that the party will benefit immensely from his wealth of political experience, which he has brought to the party in its fullness.
Mr. Adejo displayed full respect to the party and dedicated the process to his wife whom he said was on admission in an undisclosed hospital somewhere in Otukpo. He called on everyone present to pray for his wife’s quick recovery.
Notable among party dignitaries who graced the event were Hon. Emmanuel Egbe Idah, the Ukwonyo Ward Chairman and Chairman of all APC Ward Chairmen, Chief Michael Otokpa Ocheme, past Ukwonyo Ward Chairman, Mrs. Veronica Abdul, the Zone C APC Women Leader, Rotr. Innocent Igelle, PPS to the Ado Local Government Chairman and all wards Executive Committee members, three members of the Local Government APC Exco, Mr. Felix Ekpe Ogbu, Ogege ward Chairman, Mr. Michael Igavu, Royongo Ward Chairman and notable party Stakeholders such as Elder Mathew Egba and Prince George Onuh among others.
