BREAKING: Tinubu Sacks Five Ministers, Appoints Bianca Ojukwu, Six New Ministers

President Tinubu after months of growing calls from pundits and analysts  to rejig his cabinet, yielded and on  Wednesday sacked five of his ministers, scraped and make new appointment into his cabinet.

Re-assigned 10 ministers to new ministerial portfolios and appointed seven new ministers for Senate confirmation.

The President sacked Uju-Ken Ohanenye as Minister of Women Affairs; Lola Ade-John as Minister of Tourism; Tahir Mamman as Minister of Education; Abdullahi Gwarzo as Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development; and Jamila Ibrahim as Minister of Youth Development.

Commission.

“The appointment of Sunday Akin Dare as Special Adviser to the
President on Public Communication and Orientation working from the
Ministry of Information and National Orientation,” the Presidency said.

Ambassador Bianca Onoh, widow of the late Ikemba of Nnewi, Sir Chukwuemeka Ojukwu, has been appointed as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
