Yibaikwal Foundation to Partners with Plateau State Government to Empower Teachers

The Yibaikwal Foundation, led by it’s Chairman, Prof. (Amb) Abdullahi Shehu Yibaikwal , recently met with Commissioner for Education (Secondary), Hon. Nyalun Mohammed Salihu, to present its concept note for capacity enhancement program aimed at building capacity for teachers. This initiative aligns with goal 4 of the sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Prof. Shehu according to a press statement e-signed by Buba Ezekiel shehu for organization appreciates the commissioner for creating time to discuss while stating the reason and concept to the Directors and other management staffs of the ministry.

“Teachers will greatly benefit from the Yibaikwal Foundation’s capacity enhancement program which include improving skills and knowledge of teachers, enhancing teaching methods, professional development, collaboration and networking among peers experts and employers”.

He adds,  “these benefits will not only enhance teachers professional lives but will have positive impact on the educational sector in the state, by empowering teachers, the program will ultimately contribute to better educational outcome for students”.

The commisioner for education (Secondary), Hon. Nyalun assured the foundation of state government support and commitment to the partnership, says this is a significant step toward empowering the teachers and the next generation as it is Governor Caleb Mutfwang top priority to elevate the level and quality of education in the State.
