Ado Local Government Council Chairman Inspects Renovated Offices, Announces New Legislative Block

The Executive Chairman of Ado Local Government Council, Hon. Engr. Oche Sunday Oche, on Monday, December 9, 2024, oversaw an inspection of the recently renovated administrative offices at the local government secretariat. The upgrades, which included modern furniture and improved interior design, were well-received by council staff.

Oche according to press statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Samson Otokpa during the inspection expressed gratitude to Governor Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia of Benue State for approving the renovations and to the Adviser on the Bureau for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs for the timely delivery of the new furniture. He highlighted the council’s commitment to enhancing efficiency and improving staff well-being.

“We are immensely grateful for Governor Alia’s support in creating a more conducive work environment,” Hon. Oche stated. “This renovation is a significant step forward in our commitment to providing exceptional service to the people of Ado.”

Looking ahead, Hon. Oche announced plans to construct a dedicated legislative block for the Ado Legislative Council. This project is intended to streamline legislative procedures and boost governance within the local government. He also pledged a broader infrastructural development program, promising to revitalize other aging facilities within the secretariat and across the local government area.
