2025 Budget: Rep Isiaka Enjoins Nigerians to Support Tinubu’s Govt., Highlights Economic Progress Under Tinubu
Rep. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka, Member representing Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency has called on Nigerians to continue supporting President Bola Tinubu’s transformative economic agenda while highlighting the achievement of the Tinubu led government.
Rep. Isiaka In an interview with members of the National Assembly New Media Forum shortly after the budget presentation at the joint session of the national assembly emphasized the significant progress made in the country uurged citizens to stay committed as the government works toward long-term prosperity, saying, “We have made substantial progress, and we must keep moving forward to reach the ultimate goal.”
The lawmaker highlighted achievements such as GDP growth, inflation reduction, and improved debt repayment in recent years; noting the country’s foreign reserves, which have grown to $42 billion in just 18 months. “Our external reserves have been restored to $42 billion, a true testament to our steady growth,” he stated. He expressed confidence that this progress would continue under the current administration’s leadership.
Isiaka further assured Nigerians that the government is committed to managing resources transparently. The National Assembly will ensure the government is held accountable, he said, especially with the ongoing 2023 and 2024 budgets. He emphasized that all promised projects would be completed, benefiting the people. “We will ensure that the promises made are kept, and Nigerians will feel the impact,” he affirmed.
He also addressed the 2025 budget, explaining its role in advancing the nation’s development goals. Rep. Isiaka noted the importance of security improvements and sustainable economic policies in the upcoming fiscal year. The lawmaker reiterated that every effort is being made to achieve prosperity for all Nigerians.
He encouraged all Nigerians to stay focused and united in support of the Tinubu Renewed Hope Agenda government.
