2025 BUDGET: Rep. Oyibo Ukodhiko Commends Tinubu’s Quest to Restoring Nigeria

Rep Jonathan Oyibo Ukodhiko has saluted President Tinubu guest to restoring the country, bringing it to its glorious day of national progress and prosperity. Said, he believes the N47.96 trillion 2025 budget proposal  presented by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday underscored the president’s determined quest to restoring Nigeria to the part of greatness.

The proposed budget stands at N47.96 trillion, with key allocations including N4.91 trillion for Defence and Security, N4.06 trillion for Infrastructure, and N2.48 trillion for Health among others.

Rep. Jonathan, Member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency of Delta state at the Green chamber of the  National Assembly expressed optimism about the 2025 budget proposal while addressing press men of  the National Assembly New Media Forum shortly after the presentation of the budget. He noted that the budget “holds significant promise” and will drive positive changes for the Nigerian people.

According to Ukodhiko,.“The President’s commitment to restoring Nigeria is clear. I believe this budget will be a catalyst for recovery,” he said. Urging Nigerians to remain hopeful and patient, trusting that the budget will bring long-term benefits.

While acknowledging the current economic hardships, Ukodhiko emphasized the need for strong leadership and tough decisions to ensure the nation’s survival.

“We need a determined and focused leader to guide us through these difficulties. If such decisions are not made, the country may face further decline,” he explained.

Despite public concerns, Ukodhiko believes the budget is a step in the right direction.“The President’s determined quest to restoring Nigeria is obvious and I believe this budget will be a catalyst for recovery,” he said called Nigerians to remain hopeful and patient, trusting that the budget will bring long-term benefits.

The 2025 budget proposal, titled “The Budget of Restoration,” aims to address national priorities, rebuild the economy, and secure Nigeria’s future.
