AGILA AGOG AS CLUB DISTRIBUTES THOUSANDS OF EXERCISE BOOKS TO PUPILS AND STUDENTS

The mastermind Club of Agila has set Agila agog with her annual convention where the club among other things had meeting with the traditional Chief, youth (Okwolebi and youth leaders of all clans) ,women group and other stakeholders preaching peace, love, unity that’s tailored towards growth and development of Agila.

The club in her consideration for education as the torch of every community enjoined the pupils and students to take their studies very seriously thereby distributing thousands of sixty (60) leaves exercise books to the pupils and students.

Speaking during the convention held yesterday Friday, 27th December,2024 at Efoha play square (Ofu-Efoha), the national coordinator of the club, Comrade Otsepa Gabriel emphasises the important of love, peace and unity for the overall development of Agila.

While appreciating the effort and commitment of leaders in ensuring the continuous existence of Agila against what he describes as group conspiracy against Agila, thanks all shining the light of love, peace and unity in the land.

The comrade concerned over the persistent crisis amongst ourselves where violent is resulted to, call on the entire Agila especially the youth to eschew violent and embrace dialogue as the best alternative and called on all well meaning Agila illustrious sons and daughters to close rank, forgive one another and forget the past but embrace each other in peace, love and unity to building Agila that will be the envy of all.

The association commended the effort of Chief Dr. Mike Okibe Onoja CON and the Deputy Speaker of Benue State Assembly, Hon. Chief Mrs. Lami Ogenyi for the ongoing construction of the Agila-Igumale road.

“While we commend Chief Dr. Mike Okibe Onoja CON and the Deputy Speaker, Benue State House of Assembly for lobbying the state government for the construction of Agila-Igumale road, we extend our profound gratitude to the transformational governor of Benue State, His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia for considering the road for construction. The club however, enjoined the governor to further mount pressure on the contractor handling the construction to finish timely.”

The club through her Board Chairman, Mr. Sunday Odang says the club will be embarking on more tangible infrastructural project in the coming years by God’s grace, calls for the support of all stakeholders in driving home development.

Recall that mastermind Club of Agila had at a time when the Igumale -Agila road was terribly bad, almost unpassable mobilized resources amongst members and fixed it to a passable state. Since then, the club has been firmly instrumental to peace building, social reorientation, community development initiative etc. in Agila.

Mastermind Club of Agila is a Corporate Affair Commission (CAC) registered club with membership restricted to only young development driven, progressive minded and responsible Agila youth with passion for Agila where love, peace,unity and progress shall reign supreme.
