DAILY HOPE DEVOTIONAL: FEBRUARY 15 WORLD’S HATE ON CHRISTIANS (1) Scripture: John 7:7; 15: 18; 1 John 3: 13
There are uncountable times people forwarded to me, planned schemes of people to make sure Christianity is dealt away with in this world. Some of the forwarded posts would ask me to pray against things seem to fit into End Times.
On February 6th, 2021 I got one concerning how United Nation was alleged to have declared her enmity for Christians. Part of the post read “The UN says that the Christian church is the enemy of human rights. The UN says that it will become a world religion to impose humanitarian laws, not spiritual, so that the world is not subject to Christian doctrine so that they cannot impose their spiritual laws.” But reading the article to the end I discover the organization of Lesbianism Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) is behind the write up. To me, there is nothing different and fearful to forward this article to Christians worldwide. By the group’s ID 2020 project, they say it is mandatory to corner Christians to divide their beliefs and faith, they cannot continue to win more lives for Christian doctrine…”
Over the years past, Christians have been subjected to untold hardship, tortures, gruesome murder, forcefully taking over of their landed and other properties and many other horrible treatments to stop them from becoming Christians. Christian history books contain the inhuman ways the world has hated Christians. All things being done to Christians today by people of other religions as well as other Christian bodies are not different from what has been done thousands of years ago. Possibly, those who see things and fearfully or excitedly forward them in panic do not read Christian or church history books. Emperor Domitian, Emperor of Rome (81 – 96 AD) was said to set his city on fire and accused Christians been responsible. He ended up killing almost all of them. It was alleged that he would tie Christians to poles along the street and set them on fire at night as street light. Other Emperors, religious groups and individuals have done more worst to Christians.
This devotional is to encourage present Christians to know that the Worlds’ Hate on Christians has been and will ever be. The Bible has never told Christians that the world will not hate them. The Bible has never said Christianity is a religion for the world to love it. Christianity came into the world to save the world. What some of us failed to know is that Satan believed he owns the world. Satan sees the world as his reserved kingdom. For Christianity to come for reclaiming the world for God’s Kingdom; Christian must be hated by the world. Satan will ever pollute anything Christians do so that the world hates them. Jesus said that ever since John the Baptist came to announce the Kingdom of God in the world; violet entered into the world. It will be only Christians with Spiritual Violet Faith that will take the world by force. Jesus has told us that because the world hated Him, we Christians will be hated (John 15: 18). Apostle Paul has told us that Christians in the world are on Spiritual Warfare. What has been made known to us should not take us by surprise. The essential thing now is how to be secured by God against the world’s hates.
PRAYER
1. Father, give me understanding heart to know the timing of the world we are inside these days in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. Give Christians the mind to face whatever persecution plan ahead of them in this generation in the name of Jesus.
