Following a disheartening ruling by the Local Government Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja yesterday, Hon. Engr. Oche Sunday Oche, Executive Chairman of Ado Local Government Area, addressed his supporters and the people of Benue State.
The ruling, which overturned his election victory at the polls on October 5, 2024 has sent shockwaves through the community and sparked widespread concerns.

Oche who reiterating his previous pledge against violence highlighted the importance of due process and assured supporters that all legal avenues will be explored to reclaim the mandate given to him by the people.
“Yesterday was heartbreaking,” Hon. Oche stated. “This ruling could tear apart millions of APC supporters and the good people of Benue State. We must do better. Our judiciary must rise to the occasion if we are to make progress in this country.”
