OJEMA VISITS HIS SPIRITUAL FATHER, BISHOP OKWORI
…Graces Pst Ewaoche Church Service, hosts Apa/Agatu Pastors residing in Makurdi
The Member representing Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on National Inland Waterways, Chief. Pst. Hon Ojotu Ojema FESMI, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, paid a “Thank You” visit to his Spiritual Father and the General Overseer of Petros Assembly Church International, Archbishop Cephas Ocheola Okwori at his Makurdi residence.
Speaking during the visit, Pst Ojema according to a report by his Media Aide, Ekani Olikita expressed his profound gratitude to Bishop Okwori for spiritually transforming him to who he is today, saying words alone are not enough to appreciate him.
“I thank God for a day like this. Archbishop Okwori is my Spiritual Father/Mentor who played pivotal roles in the transformation of my Spiritual Life and my emergence as Apa/Agatu Reps Member today. He made me to be God-fearing and strong spiritually. Under his tutelage, I received God’s call, he ordained me and also made me one of the pastors in the church. Thank you so very much and may God continue to protect, bless, uplift you and your entire family”, Chief Ojema said.
Responding, Bishop Okwori appreciated Pst Ojema for his visit, describing him as a good Spiritual son who had never been found wanting.
He added that, Pst Ojema’s outstanding performance so far has shown clearly that God truly chose him to represent his people at the National Assembly, declaring spiritually that his leadership at the Green Chamber would transcend beyond one term.
Similarly, the Aboh-OcheK’Idoma also visited one of his Spiritual Mentors and General Overseer of The Glory of His Royal Majesty Church Bethel Land Makurdi, Pst/Evang Michael Ewache, to appreciate him for his Spiritual Counseling and general mentorship.
He also attended the ongoing Weekly Healing and Deliverance Service of the church, with the theme, “No Abandoned Project in my Life”, during which he was anointed by Evangelist Ewache with holy oil and told clearly, no force is strong enough to compel him to abandon his good plans for his people and his leadership at the National Assembly would go beyond one term.
Finally, Pst Ojema hosted the Forum of Apa/Agatu Pastors residing in Makurdi to bring the activities of the busy day to an end.
In his speech to the great Men and Women of God, Chief Ojema charged them to continue praying for Peace, Unity, Security and Development of Nigeria as the country continues to confront renewed Security Challenges nationwide, especially in Apa and Agatu LGAs.
He thanked them for their support and prayers, assuring them that their efforts wouldn’t go in vain.
In their separate but similar speeches on behalf of the group, Very. Rev. Abdul Adanu, Very. Rev. Edeh, Presbyterians with Methodist Church South Bank Makurdi, Prophet. Dr. Chief Moses Ekani of God Prophetic Minstry Makurdi, thanked Pst Ojema for hosting them, describing the Federal Lawmaker as an impartial Leader who has the interest of his people at heart, as demonstrated in the even distribution of his projects and empowerments across Apa and Agatu, assuring him of their maximum support and fervent prayers always.
In his Vote of Thanks, Elder Napoleon Ademu of ECWA Church Makurdi, appreciated Pst Ojema for not abandoning the group he is still part of, wishing him all the best throughout his Leadership at the National Assembly
