Hon. Daniel Amos Extols Speaker Tajudeen
The Honourable Member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency (Chairman, House Committee on House Services) in the 10th House of Representatives, Hon. Daniel Amos has extolled the Honourable Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas Ph.D for graciously extending his scholarship scheme to accommodate 200 youth (students) from Jema’a Local Government area.
Hon. Daniel Amos who was conferred with the Kussom Asseit traditional title of Bena Asseit ( Taimako Kussom) by the Village Head of Kussom Asseit, Chief Gideon Maigari at the 2025 annual cultural festival celebration for his exceptional performance and contribution to the development of the Kussom Asseit people and community extolled and commended the Speaker Tajudeen’s commitment to addressing the educational need and economic challenges of the people
Responding to an earlier appeal of the Kussom Asseit Village Head, Chief Gideon Maigari for scholarship grant and other needs of the community. Hon. Daniel acquainted the audience of Speaker Tajudeen’s gracious provision of 200 students scholarship scheme slots with one hundred thousand Naira (#100,000:00) benefit each to Jema’a Local Government area.
Adding that the gesture by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas Ph.D is a testament of his commitment to the education and economic well-being of the people while pursuing their education.
He revealed that some beneficiaries has begining to enjoy the scholarship scheme with testimony of it positive impact.
He assured the community of more development while noting the plethora needs of the community
Speaking on the significant of the cultural festival as the Chairman of the occasion, Hon. Daniel Amos congratulate the people of Kussom Asseit, thank the organizer of the festival and enjoined guest to explore the cultural heritage of the Kussom Asseit community. Said the event acts as a platform for peace and unity, bringing the generality of the people together in peace which he said is the foundation of every meaning development.
At a time when the cultural heritage of many community are going into extinction, the significant of cultural festival as this can not be over emphasis, being a tool for passing of same to another generation.
The annual cultural festival featured display of their rich cultural heritage, performance of cultural dances from different community, groups, traditional counsins, foods.
