The Chairman, Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions, Sen. Neda Imasuen( Edo South Senatorial District) has expressed commitment to supporting creative industries and promote cultural legacy of the country.

 

Senator Neda expressed his commitment to supporting the creative industries and promote cultural legacy on Friday when he played host to a delegation from the RODI Foundation, led by Nollywood veteran Onuwura Agility in a courtesy visit held in his office with  notable creative industry’s icons including Paul Obazele, Patience Ozokwor (Mama G), and Dokpesi Regina.

Senator Imasuen commended the team for their vision and assured them of his willingness to support initiatives that uplift creative industries and promote cultural legacy.

The purpose of the visit according to the team leader of the delegation was to formally brief the Senator on the upcoming RODI Gala Night, a prestigious annual event designed to honour legends and spotlight emerging talents across the sports, music, and film industries.

The Gala Night, according to the team, did not only celebrates achievements but also seeks to create a structured platform for the welfare and retirement of industry veterans.

The team leader, Onuwura Agility further expressed deep appreciation to Senator Imasuen for granting them audience and appealed for his support towards making the event a resounding success.
