Appointees of Ado Local Government Chairman Congratulate Engr. Sunny Oche on Election Appeal Tribunal Victory

Appointees of Ado Local Government today congratulated Benue State Governor Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia (Ph.D.), APC State Chairman Chief Benjamin Omale, and Ado Local Government Chairman Engr. Sunny Oche on their successful appeal at the Benue State Election Appeal Tribunal in Abuja. The Tribunal upheld Engr. Oche’s election.

Hon. Innocent Agasi, Principal Staff Officer (PSO) to the Chairman according to a report e-signed the chairman’s Principal Private Secretary Innocent Igelle conveyed the appointees’ statement, characterizing the June 3rd, 2025 judgment as a correction of previous injustices and a reaffirmation of the October 5th, 2024 Benue State Independent Electoral Commission (BSIEC) election results. The appointees praised Engr. Oche for his steadfastness and continued commitment to governance throughout the appeal process.

“This judgment is a victory for democracy,” stated Hon. Agasi. “It showcases the resilience of Engr. Oche and his unwavering belief in the mandate given to him by the electorate.” The appointees expressed their pride in associating with Engr. Oche, highlighting his inclusive leadership style that has provided them valuable experience and opportunities for future political engagement.

The Appointees acknowledge the positive impact of the Chairman and Governor’s collaboration, evidenced by the State’s physical presence in Ado Local Government, including ongoing road construction and other initiatives benefiting the community.
