DAILY HOPE DEVOTIONAL: JULY 18 Topic: NEVER FEAR OPPOSITIONS. Scriptures: 1 Chro. 4: 9-10; 1 Pet. 3: 12 – 16

Spread the love

Every good thing will be opposed. Your vision has enemies. Satan wants to frustrate your climbing up in life and he will throw whatever he can in your ways. His aim is to stop you. If he can’t achieve that, he tries to blow you off course or delay your arrival. You have to understand that in life you will face pains, problems, persecutions and so on; but each of those challenges, no matter how bad they may be, also have possibilities and opportunities. You must never let whatever you are passing through in life stops you from where you are going to. David said in Psalm 23:4; “though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me…”

STAY ROOTED:

Temporary setbacks must not be big enough to shift your focus, because a broken focus will cause accidents, blurs your vision, makes you misunderstand life, and makes you want to be somebody else. When your life is rooted in your vision, you will be able to focus on the success ahead of you. When you are rooted in the plan of God for your life, it gives you a sense of commitment and helps you to seize the moment just like Jabez did, when he was confronted with the challenges of life; he caught a new vision and stayed in the vision. Stay rooted, the journey of life is slowed down when you leave the road and drive on uncharted roads. Humiliation follows when you leave the right cause of life.

Stay in the area of your primary calling. Allow your vision to speak in your life. When you are within your vision, your life will surely excel. Stay rooted and wait for the appointed time for your vision to materialized. Stay rooted in your vision for the sake of those who do not believe in you. Because knowing clearly what to do and how to achieve it helps you to overcome doubting thomases around you (Isa. 50:7). The Lord God will help you, be confident.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

1) Oh God, I refused to fear any opposition positioned against me to hinder my vision from coming to pass in Jesus Name.
2) In the mighty name of Jesus, I overcome every obstacle in Jesus Name.

CONFESSION:

Psalm 23:4,” though I pass through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”
