EZZA EZEKUNA STANDS UNITED IN SOLIDARITY TO GOV. HYACINTH ALIA AND ENGR. SONY OCHE, TOTALLY REJECTS PERPETUAL NKECHI OKAFOR AND HER MALICIOUS LIES
The Ezza Ezekuna people in Ado Local Govt of Benue State has categorically and unapologetically affirm there total and unwavering support for the Executive Governor of Benue State, His Excellency Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, and the indefatigable Chairman of Ado Local Government Area, Engr. Sony Oche.
Ezza Ezekuna in a joint statement signed by respected royal fathers and community leaders — HRH Igwe Linus Usulor, Chief Nwigwe Nwonu, Chief Nweze Daniel, Chief Agom Matthew, Chief Emmanuel Awo, Chief Ali Simeon, Chief Michael Nwede, Chief Itumo, and many others reaffirm their complete confidence in the character, leadership, and integrity of Engr. Sony Oche.
The people in the statement condemned in the strongest possible terms the baseless, malicious, and disgraceful propaganda being peddled by one Perpetual Nkechi Okafor and her band of disgruntled cohorts’ allegations of shielding criminal elements against Engr. Sony Oche; says the allegations are not only false and concocted, but also represent a desperate last gasp from individuals who have long lost their moral and communal legitimacy.
“Let it be made clear to the general public, Perpetual Nkechi Okafor does not speak for Ezza Ezekuna. She was formally dismissed from all community positions and roundly rejected by our people as far back as 2022, due to her repeated acts of treachery, mischief, and divisive conduct.
“Engr. Oche’s tenure has been marked by peace, progress, and purposeful governance.”
Under Oche’s stewardship, Ezza communities have witnessed an unprecedented level of government presence, infrastructure development, and communal harmony. Claims to the contrary are nothing but deliberate falsehoods designed to distract and destabilize.
Additionally, the Ezza Ezekuna people challenged and refuted the disgusting insinuation that there are “illegal detention camps” within their communities. Our youth and elders have confirmed that no such camps exist.
“We appreciate the proactive leadership of Governor Alia and Engr. Oche in deploying the Benue State Special Task Force, Ayam Nyor, to safeguard peace and order in our land, an action that clearly exposes the lies of the opposition.”
In what can only be described as an insult to justice and integrity, the people note with grave disappointment the involvement elected public official of whose name was associated with this orchestrated campaign of lies and anyone towing this treacherous path, to take caution and steer clear of Ezza affairs since they cannot contribute positively to the wellbeing and development of her community and People.
With any form of ambiguity, Ezza Ezekuna is solidly behind Governor Alia and Engr. Sony Oche. “They are the leaders we have long prayed for, selfless, visionary, and deeply committed to the wellbeing and development of our people.
”We urge Engr. Oche to remain unshaken and laser-focused on his transformational agenda. The enemies of progress will fail, as they always have.”
