The two series on this topic have addressed the fact that, against all sicknesses and diseases killing human beings, God’s divine coverage has been responsible for why we all have not died. Today’s devotional will conclude on tropical diseases and how God has all the ways protected people from extinctions. Those who live within tropical zones of the world have come under afflictions of deadly diseases with several spices. Few of these diseases and their attendant sicknesses will be mentioned to attest to the fact that God’s “Unmerited Divine Coverage” is reason many human beings are still living on the earth. Malaria has been so deadly a sickness globally both in the tropical regions and other regions. Malaria has killed in millions. Center for Disease Control said that about 409,000 people died annually in 2019 of malaria out of which 274,000 were children. This report puts total estimate of people afflicted with malaria as 228 million by 2018. These figures ought to have significantly increased presently.

The rates of deaths cause by tuberculosis calls for fear. This disease has afflicted so many people that if not unmerited divine coverage human beings ought to have vanished from the earth by now. Research work showed in 2018 that total of 1.4 billion people have been afflicted, 10 million are active carriers while about 1.5 million die annually. We will appreciate God’s divine coverage here as most victims are in the poor communities of the world. The most spread tropical disease which is in almost in many people is filariasis. Though it has few mortality rates, it has afflicted millions of people globally. There are two main spices of this disease. One is caused by mosquitos while the other is caused by black flies. Over 38.5 million people are suffering from filariasis caused by mosquitos and about 15.5 million are suffering from that caused by black flies given a total number of about 54 million people. Report has it that nearly 40 million individuals have been incapacitated or deformed by filaria globally. These figures might have gone up significantly. Here is where “unmerited Divine Coverage” is very obvious given how people are careless about this sickness.

The devotional will not conclude its few examples without mentioning cholera with its devastating death tolls in the rural tropical regions. It is said that cholera is contacted by drinking dirty water and eating of foods exposed to the cholera virus. As true as this discovering is, God’s divine coverage is practically seen on people. Researchers have estimated that every year, there are roughly 1.3 to 4.0 million cases, and 21, 000 to 143, 000 deaths worldwide due to cholera. This fact is supported by report posted by World Health Organization of February 5th 2021. This devotional produced these facts to tell human beings that God’s Divine Coverage on people is to be appreciated. We human can appreciate God on this note by turning our loyalty completely to Him. He is worthy of our worship at all times. We are to always try to abide with the Almighty in secret places in holiness. He will miraculously stop weapons of our enemies from gaining victories over us.

Pray and thank God for His continuous and consistent provisions of coverage for all human beings. Pray also, asking God to grant Christians strong faith to obey His commandments that will enhance His divine coverage upon them in Jesus name.
