Stakeholders Back Nome For 2nd Tenure Reject Victor Chukwu’s Endorsement

In what appears as a dramatic twist of event, stakeholders of Ezza North West Constituency in Ezza North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, have endorsed the second term aspiration of the incumbent lawmaker of the constituency, Hon. Barr. Chikaodili Nomeh, PhD.
Conversely, the stakeholders rejected the purported endorsement of Hon. Victor Chukwu, the Ebonyi State Commissioner for Environment, disassociating themselves from a group they described as faceless, Imoha Progressive, that had earlier adopted the Commissioner.
A letter dated March 19th and captioned, “disclaimer on the purported adoption of Hon. Victor Chukwu” and signed by Chief Hon. John Nwefuru, Hon. Felix Nwaji, Hon. Nwafor Basil, Hon. Celestine Obinna Nubo, Hon. Chikezie Nwuzor and Lovina Egbe, strongly disowned the adoption of Victor Chukwu.
According to them Oriuzor ward where Victor Chukwu hails from had represented Ezza North West state constituency for sixteen (16) years and it is still the turn of Ogboji ward, where Hon. Barr. Chikaodili Nomeh hails from.
The statement reads: “The concerned persons – Chief Hon. John Nwefuru, Hon. Felix Nwaji, Hon. Nwafor Basil, Hon. Celestine Obinna Nubo, Hon. Chikezie Nwuzor and Lovina Egbe have in strong terms disclaimed/disowned the announcement made by non existing, fake, hungry and faceless group ” Imoha progressive ” adopting Hon. Victor Chukwu as their sole candidate for Ezza North West state constituency for 2027 general election.
“Hon. Victor had represented the constituency two consecutive tenures from 2015 to 2023 and his ward Oriuzor had represented the constituency 16 years and it is still the turn of Ogboji Community to represent them at the House of Assembly.
“The member representing Ezza West in the House of Assembly, Hon. Barr. Chikaodili Nomeh, PhD who is from Ogboji community is doing very well and we are comfortable with his leadership.
According to them, they did not in any way have adoption or agreement with anyone in that regard and they wish to warn those circulating the fake news, particularly, Arinze Unigwe and his pay master Hon. Victor Uzoma Chukwu to immediately refute the fake news and pull it down from all media platforms/organizations including the social media or they would be forced to seek redress.
They further called on the public to therefore disregard such misleading fake news.
Finally, they called on our people especially the good people of Ezza North West state constituency to continue to align themselves with the people oriented and peace loving administration of our Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, for in the administration and leadership of Hon. Barr. Chikaodili Nomeh, they were pleased.
