Ebonyi ADC Passes Vote Of Confidence On Mrs. Adibe Nwafor

The Ebonyi State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has passed vote of confidence on the incumbent Chairman, Dr. Mrs. Jennifer Adibe Nwafor, citing credibility and all inclusive leadership.

 

Moving the vote of confidence during the State Executive Council (SEC) meeting held today at ADC secretariat along the old Abakaliki-Enugu Expressway, Chairman of Ohaukwu Local Government Area of the Party, Engineer Epherim Eze, said Dr. Mrs Jennifer Adibe-Nwafor, has treated all parties in the coalition equally.

 

According to him, Dr. Mrs. Jennifer Adibe Nwafor has performed creditably well, that since the coalition was announced, she has been carrying everybody along. He said she has treated all parties equally whether you are from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

 

Engineer Epherim Eze said, “Today, we have our State Executive Council meeting. The state executive were in attendance- thirty of them. Then the Local Government Areas Chairmen were also in attendance and some of their secretaries.

 

“We said if the governor is going to North, Deputy Governor to the South, that the Central should produce the state Chairman of ADC. And we passed vote of confidence on her.

 

“I am calling for a vote of confidence to be passed on the State African Democratic Congress (ADC) Chairman, Dr. Mrs. Jennifer Adibe to recontest for the position of chairman.

 

Speaking also the seconder of the motion, the State Youth Leader, Comrade Nwankwo Ikechukwu, who seconded the motion, argued that there is need to adhere to the zoning arrangement, that if the governor is going to the north, the deputy to the south, the central should be allowed to produce the Chairman, and that they have passed vote of confidence on the incumbent Chairman of the Party, Dr. Mrs Jennifer Adibe-Nwafor.

 

The motion was thereafter put in vote and It was unanimously adopted by the members in SEC and the thirteen Local Government Areas chairmen, including some of their secretaries.

 

Reacting, the Ebonyi State chapter chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Dr. Mrs. Jennifer Adibe-Nwafor, expressed gratitude to the members in SEC and the thirteen Local Government Areas Chairmen, including some of LGAs secretaries and assured them of collaborating with them to ensure he victory of the party in 2027.
