Nigeria’s ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), has released a revised timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 general elections, outlining key adjustments to its internal processes ahead of the polls.
The updated schedule introduces changes to critical stages of the party’s electoral process, including timelines for screening of aspirants, appeals, and primary elections, as well as fresh directives on the sale of nomination forms and designated bank accounts for payments.

According to a press statement issued by the All Progressives Congress and signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the revised timetable was formally approved and endorsed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu.
“The revision includes changes to timelines for screening, appeals, and primary elections, alongside directives guiding the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms,” the statement noted.
The party explained that the updated schedule is part of efforts to streamline its electoral processes and ensure better coordination in the build-up to the 2027 elections.
While full details of the timetable are expected to guide aspirants and party stakeholders, the APC reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a transparent and orderly primary election process across all levels.
