The Chairman of Ado Local Government, Engr. Sunny Oche, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Livinus Tsar on being conferred with an honorary doctoral award by the American University of Peace and Governance (AUPG) in conjunction with the United International Peace and Governance Council (UNIPGC). The esteemed recognition was presented at the 3rd Edition of the Global Peace Award (GPA), held at the historic House of Lords, British Parliament, London, United Kingdom.

Dr. Tsar received this distinguished honor in recognition of his outstanding contributions to sustainable humanitarian efforts, social work, and development management. Notably, Dr. Livinus Tsar is the first indigene of Benue State to be so recognized by UNIPGC, an organization headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. A renowned philanthropist, Dr. Tsar is also the Convener of the LIVIITSAR support group, advocating for the re-election bids of Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia (Ph.D.) and President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

Engr. Sunny Oche lauded the award as “well deserving for a man who has love for his fellow humans.” He further commended Dr. Tsar for his remarkable exploits beyond the borders of Benue State and Nigeria, leaving an indelible mark worthy of high praise as the first Benue indigene to be inducted into the roll call of awardees. Engr. Oche urged Dr. Tsar to view this accolade as a renewed call to action, emphasizing the need for an expanded reach to the most vulnerable populations who might not yet have benefited from his commendable “Save Our Soul” program, which earned him international recognition. The Chairman concluded by wishing Dr. Tsar greater heights in his pursuit of an egalitarian society where peace and love prevail.

Dr. Graziella Thake, Secretary-General of UNIPGC, underscored the profound significance of the award, highlighting Dr. Tsar’s unwavering dedication to poverty alleviation programs, peace initiatives, and the empowerment of Nigerian youths, women, widows, and other vulnerable groups.

Dr. Tsar’s impact is evident through several community-based programs he has initiated in Benue State. These include vital skill acquisition training in tailoring, fertilizer production, barbing, hairdressing, shoemaking, and fabric design. Hundreds of beneficiaries who have completed these programs have reportedly received start-up grants of ₦300,000 each, enabling them to successfully launch their own businesses. His remarkable and attractive good work truly merits this prestigious award.
