Deputy Speaker Lami Felicitates Nigerians on Democracy Day
…Says Patriotism is the Bedrock for National Growth and Development.
The Deputy Speaker of the 10th Benue State House of Assembly, Chief Hon.Mrs Lami Danladi Ogenyi felicitates with fellow Nigerians,Benue citizens in particular on this year’s auspicious Democracy Day celebration, an epochal 25th unbroken democratic experience.
Chief Lami according to her Democracy Day message e-signed by her Press Secretary, Agbaji Samuel Atsonwu affirms that democracy is the best form of government, adding that democratic governance can solve all challenges bedeviling the various constituencies, local governments, states and Nigeria as whole.
The Deputy Speaker states, “patriotism is the bedrock for national growth and development and charges fellow Nigerians, especially citizens of Benue state to imbibe the spirit of patriotism as that will rekindle their hope to building a greater Benue through collective effort.
The Lawmaker appreciates His Excellency the executive governor of Benue state, Rev.Fr. Hyacinth Alia Ph.D for fast-tracking development in the various sectors of the state and rekindling the hope of the Benue populace in democratic practices, maintains that this present administration will remain focused and committed to nation building, exploring the nitty-gritty of the issues that had plagued the state in the past in a bid to bringing more dividends of democracy to the citizenry.
The 4th citizen of the state assures the people of Ado Constituency that the present administration of His Excellency Gov.Hyacinth Alia will work with every sector of the economy to give it a face-lift and increase the overall living standard of citizens.
The Honourable Deputy Speaker calls on every Benue citizens to continue to give the present administration the needed support to succeed.
