…
The MD/CEO, Niger Delta Basim Development Authority( NDBDA ) Prince Ebimiti.Amgbare has assured All Progressive Party ( APC) stake holders that the renewed hope promised by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu -led administration
would soon be a reality .
Prince Amgbare who spoke as the special guest of honour at the inauguration of the Local Goverment Leadership of the Community Peace and Development Initiatives ( CDI) in Yenagoa Saturday emphasised that the present challenges being faced by Nigeria would soon be a thing of the past.
He however recalled that President Tinubu never promised to solve
Nigeria’s challenges overnight but to take Nigeria to the expected progressive hight .
His words : “Mr president promised renewed hope and we will see that hope by the grace of God .
After this rough period Nigeria will see progress .We are already seeing the signs ,nigeria will see light at the end of the tunnel .
“When Presidnt Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) was campaigning , we did not promise eldorado from day one .
“We promised that Nigeria will eventually get to Eldorado , Nigeria will eventually get to the promised land ..Mr. President’s favourite quote is : You don’t eat omelets without breaking eggs , and today Nigeria is in the process of breaking eggs because we want to break omelets in the very near future” , said Prince Amgbare .
He advised the new CDI to go to the grassroots of the state and spread the President’s plans for a new Nigeria .
“One of the major responsibilities of the CDI is to go to the nooks and crannies of Bayelsa state which is our Jerusalem and tell them that there is hope”.
The NDBDA boss lauded the coordinator of CDI and every other person that made the initiative a success which he said, would enable stakeholders to organise and prepare ahead for any political process .
The development, he noted , would also enable members of the party to get palliatives due them and to check it’s politicisation .
” This is the time for.us to organise ,it is not the time for us to agonise ,we must organise. And as you are organising we can tell our story better.
“We will be able to position ourselves .We will go to Abuja and say anytime you are bringing palliatives to Bayelsa state please give us our own .
“When we receive our own ,the party and CDI will come together and we will now distribute our own , our people will benefit . We will not play politics with it”.
In answer to a question
during a press briefing organised by the leadership of CDI,
on how people at the grassroots would be empowered, Prince Amgbare who noted that with synergy community dwellers will be empowered pointed out that the Peremabiri and Isampou rice farms would go a long way to positively affect grassroots dwellers, and urged all to work together to achieve desired goals .
Earlier in his welcome address, , the State Cordinator of CDI , Edi Orubo said the organisation aims to impact positively the lives of people at the grassroots and for the CDI to become a beacon of hope in the communities .
